Replacement fan for Satellite U945-S4390

This replacement CPU cooler is built specifically for the Toshiba Satellite U945-S4390 laptop. It serves owners and repair technicians who need a direct-fit part to restore the original thermal performance of that model. The component is supplied new and tested before dispatch.

Single fan unit restores stock cooling

The package includes one fan unit manufactured by Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon, Kipo or an equivalent supplier depending on stock. It provides the airflow and mounting points the U945-S4390 chassis expects, keeping the processor within its design envelope under normal workloads. Sustained heavy loads may exceed the capacity of a single stock cooler.

Direct fit frees up repair time

No adapters or modifications are required; the fan aligns with the existing screw holes and connector on the motherboard. Installing it removes the need to source generic coolers or rework brackets, letting you complete the repair quickly. Buyers who need a dual-fan assembly or a higher-CFM upgrade should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will this fan fit the existing heatsink and connector on my Satellite U945-S4390?

The fan is built as a direct replacement for the original CPU cooler in the Satellite U945-S4390, so it aligns with the factory mounting points and power header.

How can I confirm the fan is running correctly once installed?

After fitting the fan, listen for steady airflow from the exhaust vent and watch the system temperature in the BIOS hardware monitor; it should stay within the normal operating range.

Does the package include mounting screws or thermal paste, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains only the fan unit itself; any screws, thermal compound or additional brackets required for installation are not supplied and must be sourced separately.
