Replacement CPU Cooling Fan

This replacement CPU cooling fan fits Lenovo ideapad G480, G480A, G480AH, G480AM, G580, G580A, G585 and G485 laptops. It serves as a direct swap for the original AB07005HX12DB00 cooler. Each unit is tested before shipping to ensure it operates correctly. Buyers should verify the part against their original fan before purchase.

Compatibility and Fit

The fan supports the listed ideapad models and provides the expected airflow for those chassis. It is not suitable for laptops outside this specific G480, G485, G580 and G585 series. Builders repairing other Lenovo lines or different brands will need a different cooler. The single fan unit replaces the factory component on a one-to-one basis.

Manufacturer Source May Vary

The fans are produced by Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon, Kipo or other manufacturers depending on stock availability. You may receive a unit from any of these sources. All supplied fans meet the same fit and function requirements for the compatible models. This variation does not affect installation or performance for the target laptops.

Questions about this item

Will this fan fit the existing heatsink on my Lenovo ideapad G480 without changing the mounting points?

The fan is made for the G480, G480A, G480AH and G480AM models and uses the original mounting holes, so it lines up with the stock heatsink.

How can I verify the fan is spinning correctly after I install it?

Each unit is tested before shipping to confirm 100 % operation; after fitting, listen for steady airflow and check that the system reports a stable RPM in BIOS or monitoring software.

Does the package include screws or thermal paste, or do I need to buy them separately?

The box contains only the fan itself; mounting screws and thermal compound are not supplied and must be sourced separately.
