Questions about this item

How often should the 12V .8A fan be cleaned to keep airflow clear?

Clean the fan and heatsink fins every 6–12 months with compressed air; dust buildup reduces cooling and forces the motor to run faster.

What is the first sign the fan is reaching its thermal limit under load?

The fan will spin at maximum RPM continuously and the laptop chassis near the exhaust becomes noticeably hotter than usual.

How loud and warm does the 12V .8A fan get during all-day use?

At full speed it produces a moderate whir audible in a quiet room and the exhaust air feels warm, but the motor stays within its rated temperature range.
