Replacement CPU fan for Satellite L800D M840 M805

This new laptop cooling fan is built as a direct replacement for Toshiba Satellite models L800D, M840, M805, L840 and L845. It suits owners whose original cooler has become noisy or stopped spinning. Buyers who need a different connector layout or a fan for another series should look elsewhere.

Package includes a single tested fan unit

The box contains one cooler that has been individually checked before dispatch. No mounting screws, thermal paste or control software are supplied, so you must reuse the existing fixings from the old assembly. The manufacturer may ship units from Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon, Kipo or equivalent sources depending on stock.

Straightforward swap if the part matches

Installation consists of opening the chassis, disconnecting the old fan and fitting this unit using the original screws. The main risk is ordering the wrong variant; the supplier advises comparing the product photos with your current fan and contacting them first if you are uncertain.

Questions about this item

Will the fan bearings need lubrication or replacement during the 9-month warranty period?

Each fan is tested before shipping and covered by a 9-month warranty, so bearing service should not be required within that time.

What thermal limit triggers throttling on the Satellite L840 during sustained loads?

The fan is designed for the Satellite L840 cooling assembly; the CPU's own thermal limit determines throttling, not the fan itself.

How much noise and heat does the Forcecon or Sunon fan produce when running continuously?

The fan may come from Forcecon, Sunon or another maker depending on stock; all units are tested to meet the original cooling spec for quiet, steady operation.
