Suited for Owners of These Specific Acer Models

Buyers repairing a listed Aspire 4741, 4741G, 4551, 4551G or D640 notebook can use this fan as a direct swap. Technicians handling bulk repairs may order multiple units. It is not for owners of other Acer series or different laptop brands, nor for anyone needing a complete cooling assembly with heatsink or heat pipes.

Restores Stock Cooling Capacity

The fan restores the original airflow designed for the supported Aspire chassis. It handles the thermal load these models were built for under normal workloads. It runs out of headroom if the heatsink is clogged, the thermal paste has degraded or the system is pushed beyond factory specifications.

Questions about this item

Does this fan fit an Acer Aspire 4741G without any extra brackets?

Yes, it is built for the 4741G and 4741 models and installs directly in the original mounting points.

Will it cool an older Acer Aspire 4551G that still uses the AB7405HX-TB3 part number?

The fan matches the AB7405HX-TB3 and SJV41 codes used on the 4551 and 4551G, so it works as a drop-in replacement.

How can I confirm the fan is running correctly after I install it?

Power on the laptop and listen for smooth airflow from the vent; the blade should spin freely with no rattling or grinding noise.
