Replacement CPU fan for Dell Latitude

This new cooling fan fits Dell Latitude D820, D830, D531, M65 and M4300 models as well as the NP865 chassis. It is built for owners who need a direct swap when the original cooler fails or becomes noisy. The part restores factory airflow without modification.

Single fan unit tested before dispatch

The package contains one fan only; no thermal paste, screws or control software are included. Each unit is tested individually by the supplier to confirm 100 percent operation before it leaves the warehouse. A nine-month warranty covers defects found during that period. Buyers must verify the connector and mounting holes against the original part because the manufacturer may ship Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon, Kipo or an equivalent brand depending on stock.

Straightforward swap if the match is correct

Installation follows the standard laptop teardown: remove the base cover, disconnect the old fan, fit the new one and reconnect the cable. The most common issue is ordering the wrong variant, so comparing the original fan photo with the listing images is essential before purchase. No extra tools beyond a small Phillips screwdriver are typically required.

Questions about this item

How often should the CPU fan in my Dell Latitude 820 be replaced to maintain cooling performance?

Replace the fan if airflow drops or bearing noise appears; the unit is tested individually before shipping and carries a 9-month warranty.

What thermal limit appears first when the Dell Latitude 830 runs a sustained heavy workload?

The CPU will throttle once its internal temperature threshold is reached, since the single replacement fan provides the original cooling capacity only.

How much noise and heat does the replacement fan produce when the Dell Latitude D531 runs all day?

The fan spins at the same speed as the original design, so acoustic output and exhaust temperature match the laptop's factory profile.
