Direct Fit and Verified Compatibility

The fan fits only the listed Latitude E5420 variants; it will not suit other Dell series or different E5420 revisions with alternate cooling assemblies. Questions about this item

Will this fan fit the heatsink mounting points on my Latitude E5420?

The fan matches part numbers 02CPVP, MF60120V1-C090-S99, Cecon DFS400805L10T and FA6J used on the Latitude E5420, so the screw holes and connector align with the original heatsink.

How can I confirm the fan is spinning correctly after I install it?

Enter the system BIOS and watch the fan RPM readout; it should report a steady speed above zero and rise when the CPU load increases.

Does the package include thermal paste or mounting screws, or do I need to buy them separately?

Only the fan itself is included; thermal compound and any replacement screws must be sourced separately.
