Replacement CPU fan for HP Envy M6

This replacement CPU cooler is built for HP Envy M6 and M6T laptops that use part numbers SPS-686901-001, DC28000BFA0 or DC28000BFF0. It suits owners whose original fan has become noisy or stopped spinning. The package contains 1 fan unit ready for fitting.

Installation notes and common issues

Fitting requires opening the laptop chassis and disconnecting the old fan cable, so basic disassembly skill is needed. Each unit is tested before dispatch to confirm 100 per cent operation. Buyers should compare the connector and screw positions with the original fan before purchase to avoid fitment errors.

Part-number compatibility check

The single specification that decides fit is the HP part number: SPS-686901-001, DC28000BFA0 or DC28000BFF0. If your service manual lists a different number this cooler will not match. Buyers needing a different part number should look for the corresponding model instead.
