Replacement CPU fan for ThinkPad T400 and R400

This replacement CPU cooler is built for Lenovo ThinkPad T400 and R400 laptops. It matches part numbers MCF-221PAM05, 45N6142 and 45N6143. The unit suits owners of these models who need a direct swap for a worn or noisy original fan. Buyers with other ThinkPad series or different laptop brands cannot use this cooler.

Tested unit designed for continuous laptop operation

Each fan is tested individually before dispatch to confirm it runs at 100% function. The component is engineered to handle the sustained thermal load typical of daily T400 and R400 use. A nine-month warranty backs the reliability of the cooler under normal operating conditions. No performance metrics beyond basic function testing are supplied.

Simple drop-in install with visual verification step

Installation follows the standard ThinkPad T400 and R400 disassembly process for the CPU fan assembly. The package includes one fan unit only, so existing mounting screws and thermal pads must be reused. The supplier advises comparing the replacement to the original part using the provided photos before fitting. Bulk orders are available by contacting the source directly.
