Replacement CPU Fan for ThinkPad Z60 Z60M Z61M

This replacement CPU fan is built for Lenovo ThinkPad Z60, Z60M and Z61M laptops. It restores factory cooling performance when the original fan fails or becomes noisy. The part is supplied new and tested before shipment. It suits owners who need a direct drop-in cooler for these specific models.

Single Fan Unit Shipped Ready to Install

The package contains one fan unit only, with no extra brackets, cables or thermal compound included. Each unit is tested individually to confirm 100 % operation before it leaves the supplier. Buyers should verify the connector and mounting holes against the original fan before purchase to avoid fitment issues.

Direct Fit for Z60 Z60M Z61M Chassis

The fan matches the mounting pattern and airflow path of the Z60, Z60M and Z61M series, providing the cooling headroom those chassis were designed for. It will not fit other ThinkPad families or non-Lenovo laptops. Installers who need a different connector, voltage or form factor must source a model-specific alternative.

Questions about this item

Will the Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon or Kipo fan need its bearings lubricated or the whole unit replaced after long use?

The fan is a sealed unit tested before shipping; if bearings wear or airflow drops, replace the complete fan assembly.

What thermal limit stops the fan from cooling a ThinkPad Z60, Z60M or Z61M under sustained load?

The fan moves air only as fast as its single motor allows; once the heatsink reaches equilibrium, temperatures stabilise at the system's own throttle point.

How much noise and heat does the replacement fan add when the laptop runs all day?

Noise and extra heat depend on which manufacturer's fan — Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon or Kipo — you receive; each has its own acoustic and thermal profile.
