Questions about this item

How often should the CPU fan in a ThinkPad E430 or E530 be replaced under normal use?

The fan is tested individually before shipping and carries a 9-month warranty; replace it when bearing noise increases or airflow drops noticeably.

What is the first thermal limit reached during sustained loads on an E435 or E535?

The single replacement fan becomes the bottleneck once its maximum RPM can no longer dissipate heat from the processor.

What noise and heat levels should I expect when the fan runs continuously in an E430C or E530C?

Expect a low mechanical hum at full speed; the fan is designed to keep internal temperatures within the laptop's original thermal envelope.
