Replacement CPU Fan for Toshiba Satellite P700

This new DBTLAP laptop CPU fan is a direct replacement cooler for specific Toshiba Satellite models including the P700-C02B, P700-C05S, AD7105HX-GBB, P700-T01B, P700-T03B and P745-S4217. It is intended for owners of these laptops who need to replace a failed or noisy original cooling fan to restore proper thermal management.

Upgrading from a Faulty Original Cooler

The part replaces the factory-installed fan when it stops spinning, develops bearing noise or fails to move enough air to keep the processor within safe temperatures. The jump is worth it when the laptop throttles performance, shuts down unexpectedly or the original fan emits grinding or rattling sounds indicating imminent failure.

Straightforward Swap with Visual Verification

Installation involves opening the laptop chassis, disconnecting the old fan cable and fitting the new unit in its place; each fan is tested individually before shipping to confirm it spins correctly. The most common issue is ordering the wrong variant, so the supplier advises comparing the product photos carefully with the original fan and contacting them if compatibility is uncertain.

Questions about this item

Will this CPU fan align with the screw holes on a Toshiba Satellite P745-S4217 motherboard?

The fan is built for the P700 and P745-S4217 series, so its mounting points match the original cooler on those models.

Which step do installers most often skip when fitting this fan?

Many forget to clean the old thermal compound off the CPU and heatsink before seating the new fan, leading to poor contact.

How long before the fan bearings typically need replacement?

The supplier tests every unit before dispatch and backs it with a 9-month warranty, indicating expected reliable operation for at least that period.
