Replacement Fan for MacBook Pro 13" Retina A1425

This cooling fan is a direct replacement part for the MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch models A1425, MD212 and ME662. It suits owners whose original fan has become noisy or stopped spinning. Each unit is tested before dispatch to confirm it operates correctly. A nine-month warranty is included with the purchase.

Installing the Fan in Your Laptop

Fitting this fan requires opening the MacBook Pro chassis and disconnecting the existing cooling assembly. The package contains one fan unit without additional screws or thermal paste, so installers must reuse the original fasteners and apply fresh thermal compound. Verifying the part number on the original fan before ordering avoids mismatched connectors or mounting points.

Who Should Buy This and Who Should Not

This part is intended for technicians or experienced users comfortable with MacBook disassembly who need a tested replacement for a failed fan. It is not suitable for buyers seeking an external cooling pad that sits under the laptop, nor for anyone unwilling to open the device and reapply thermal paste.
