Direct replacement for ThinkPad X301

This lithium CMOS battery restores real-time clock and BIOS settings on Lenovo ThinkPad X301 laptops. It is a direct replacement for the original coin cell on the motherboard. The part is new and tested before shipping. It suits repair technicians and owners maintaining legacy hardware.

Upgrades a depleted or leaking original cell

The battery replaces a factory CMOS cell that no longer holds charge or has begun to leak. The jump is worth it when the system loses date, time or BIOS configuration after power loss. It is not for users who need a main laptop battery or additional runtime.

Limited to CMOS backup function only

The cell provides low-current backup power for the real-time clock and CMOS memory. It cannot power the laptop or charge other devices. Compatibility is confined to the ThinkPad X301 motherboard socket. Builders needing a primary power source must look elsewhere.
