Replacement Fan for 5010 Laptop Coolers

This new 5010 cooling fan operates at 12V with a 1.50W rating and uses a four-wire PWM connector for speed control. It is built to match the Sunon MF50101V1-Q030-S99 specification and fits compatible laptop cooling pads. Each unit is tested before shipping to confirm it works.

PWM Control and Manufacturer Variation

The four-wire PWM interface allows the host system to regulate fan speed dynamically, but the exact speed curve and acoustic profile depend on the laptop or pad firmware. The supplier notes that stock may come from Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon, Kipo or other makers, so blade design and bearing type can vary between units.

Verify Connector and Dimensions Before Ordering

Buyers must compare the connector pinout, mounting hole spacing and overall frame dimensions against the original fan to ensure a proper fit. The listing advises checking photos carefully and contacting the seller if compatibility is uncertain. This fan is not suited for builds that require a different voltage, connector type or frame size.

Questions about this item

Which fan model matches my laptop's original Sunon MF50101V1-Q030-S99 unit?

This replacement uses the same MF50101V1-Q030-S99 part number and 5010 form factor, so it fits the mounting holes and connector of the original Sunon fan.

What does the 1.50W rating mean for everyday cooling?

At 1.50W the fan draws modest power from the 12V rail while delivering enough airflow for typical laptop thermal loads.

How does the four-wire PWM connection control speed?

The fourth wire carries a PWM signal that lets the motherboard vary fan speed precisely without voltage fluctuations.
