Decolav JAH5722 Butterfly Lid Sensor Bin 2 Gallon White Gold

Compact bathroom waste bin

The Decolav JAH5722 is a 2-gallon sensor bin finished in white gold with black accents. A butterfly lid slides sideways from the centre, so it fits beneath low cabinets without hitting the underside. Motion activation opens both panels automatically when a hand passes above the sensor. The unit measures 14.33in wide, 12.83in high and 9.06in deep and weighs 1.03 kilograms.

Suits tight spaces; not for high-volume waste

Households wanting a discreet bin that tucks under a sink or vanity will benefit from the sliding lid and narrow depth. The IPX5-rated body withstands splashes in bathrooms or kitchens. Users who need a larger capacity for a busy family kitchen or who prefer a traditional swing-top lid should consider a different style.

Sideways-sliding butterfly lid

The defining feature is the dual-panel lid that parts horizontally instead of lifting vertically. This mechanism removes the clearance required by conventional sensor bins, allowing installation in cabinets as shallow as the bin's 9.06in depth. If the available opening height is restricted, this lid design is the deciding factor.
