How deep is the 1 DIN opening on this wooden controller case?
The opening depth is 9 inches, giving you space for a standard single-DIN head unit plus extra room behind it.

It uses the DEEJAY LED TBHTOPBOX platform, which connects to stands such as the SST18.
How is the case secured to the TBHTOPBOX platform during installation?
The case bolts onto the platform; the step often missed is tightening all four mounting bolts evenly so the unit sits level on the stand.
