Compression driver for professional audio
The Deejay LED TBHDRIVER750 is a 750 Hz compression driver built for high-output sound reinforcement. It uses a titanium cone and a 3-inch Kapton voice coil driven by an 80 Oz ferrite magnet. The black aluminium basket includes standard bolts for waveguide fastening and suits installers needing high sensitivity in a compact format.
Frequency range and waveguide fit
The driver covers 1000 to 18 kHz with a sensitivity of 107.5 dB. Mounting holes sit on 72 mm centres and the mounting flange measures 125 mm with a cushioned surface. It accepts large-format horn flanges or waveguides such as the PRV Audio WGP22-50 or WG14-50, which are not included.
Power handling and system headroom
The 3-inch voice coil and heavy ferrite motor give the driver ample thermal headroom for sustained high-SPL use in the upper midrange and treble. It runs out of usable output below 1000 Hz, so a separate mid-bass device is required for full-range coverage. Buyers needing lower crossover points or higher continuous power should consider alternative driver formats.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 750 Hz model or a different driver for my crossover point?
The TBHDRIVER750 is a single-model compression driver; its 1000-18Khz frequency response and 750 Hz designation guide crossover selection around that band.
What does the 107.5dB sensitivity mean when the driver is mounted on a horn in my system?
At 107.5dB sensitivity the driver produces high output with low amplifier power, so typical PA amplifiers can reach loud SPL across the 1000-18Khz range.
Which waveguide bolt pattern does the 125mm mounting diameter with 72mm screw centres actually fit?
The 125mm mounting side and 72mm screw-hole centres match PRV Audio WGP22-50 and WG14-50 waveguides, and the package includes standard bolts for fastening.
