Windbound Xbox One digital download

Windbound is an action-adventure survival game published by Deep Silver for Xbox One. You play as a warrior shipwrecked on the Forbidden Islands with no supplies. The game tasks you with exploring, crafting tools, hunting wildlife and building a custom boat to uncover the islands' secrets and find a way home. Rated E10+ for Everyone 10+.

Redeem the digital code on Xbox One

The product is a downloadable code rather than a physical disc, so installation begins after you redeem the code on your Xbox One console or through the Microsoft Store. You will need an active internet connection and sufficient free storage on the console for the download. No disc drive is required, but the code must be entered correctly to add the licence to your account.

Xbox One platform restriction

The digital licence is tied to the Xbox One ecosystem through its DRM, meaning the game can only be played on Xbox One consoles or via backward compatibility on newer Xbox hardware linked to the same account. It cannot be transferred to other platforms such as PC or PlayStation, and an Xbox Live account is necessary to access the title.
