Stackable Caddy Wheel Base

The Deflecto 29443CR wheel base turns a stack of caddy organisers into a mobile unit. Swivel casters roll on carpet and hard floors so supplies move across a room or between locations. Lift and lock tabs secure each caddy to the base for stable transport. It is suited to crafters, teachers or anyone who relocates project materials frequently.

Capacity 5 to 10 caddies up to 200 lbs

The base performs best with five to ten stackable caddies and supports a total load of 200 lbs. This headroom covers most hobby and office supply collections. Heavier loads or taller stacks beyond ten caddies may reduce stability and manoeuvrability. The 16 inch width and 11 inch depth match the organiser footprint.

Swivel caster mobility limits

Swivel casters provide easy movement on level carpet and hard floors. Thick pile carpet, thresholds or uneven surfaces increase rolling resistance and can cause the stack to shift. The base has no braking mechanism so it must be parked on a flat surface. It is not designed for outdoor use or stairs.

Questions about this item

Will the 16" wide wheel base fit under my existing desk or table for storage?

The wheel base measures 16" wide by 11" deep and 3 1/4" high, designed to store a caddy stack under a table, desk, or in a closet.

How do I know the "Lift & Lock" tabs have secured my stack of caddies properly?

When the tabs engage, the caddies lock onto the base so the entire stack moves as one unit when you roll it across carpet or hard floors.

Does the 29443CR wheel base come with any Stackable Caddy Organizers included?

The wheel base is sold separately; it works best with 5 to 10 Deflecto Stackable Caddy Organizers, which must be purchased separately.
