Universal fit for 2.5" LCD cameras

The Delkin Devices DU2.5-M Pop-Up Shade attaches to most digital cameras with 2.5 inch LCD displays. It uses a non-residue adhesive that leaves no trace on the camera body when removed. The accessory combines a glare-blocking hood with an optically-clear acrylic screen protector.

Check LCD size and surface before ordering

Verify that your camera has a 2.5 inch LCD screen so the shade fits correctly. Ensure the area around the display is clean and smooth enough for the adhesive to bond securely. The two-part design allows the shade to be removed while the acrylic protector remains in place.

Upgrades from shooting without a shade or protector

This accessory replaces the need to shield the screen with your hand in bright sunlight. The jump is worth it when glare makes composition difficult or when you want to prevent scratches on the LCD. It adds a pop-up hood and a permanent protector without bulk.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy adhesive separately?

The package includes the pop-up shade frame and an optically-clear acrylic screen protector. The shade attaches with pre-applied non-residue adhesive, so no separate adhesive is required.

Is this shade only for 2.5 inch LCDs or will it fit other screen sizes?

This model is designed specifically for cameras with 2.5 inch LCD displays. It will not properly fit larger or smaller screens.

How much glare reduction does the pop-up shade give in bright sunlight?

The hinged shade blocks direct light from hitting the 2.5 inch LCD, making the screen readable in sunny conditions while the acrylic layer stays on the display for scratch protection.
