Questions about this item

Is the 600 GB capacity the only option for this 15K SAS drive?

The 0990FD is offered in a 600 GB capacity with a 15 000 RPM spindle speed and a 6 GB/s SAS interface.

Will the 6 GB/s SAS link run at full speed in a 3 GB/s backplane?

The drive negotiates the link speed automatically, so it will operate at 3 GB/s when connected to a 3 GB/s controller or backplane.
