DELL 1464E LCD Display Latch for Inspiron 3700 3800 Latitude CPx CPt CPiR

Genuine Dell LCD latch for legacy Latitude

This genuine Dell OEM latch carries part number 1464E and fits Latitude CPi R, CPt, CPx H and CPx J models plus Inspiron 3700 and 3800 notebooks. It secures the display assembly in the closed position. Buyers repairing other Dell series or non-Dell laptops cannot use this part.

Mechanical durability under repeated opening cycles

The latch engages each time the lid is closed and releases when opened, so its spring and catch face wear proportional to daily open-close frequency. Heavy shared-use environments will see faster fatigue than occasional single-user operation. No cycle rating or material specification is supplied.
