Dell 7559 15.6-inch 4K Touchscreen Gaming Laptop

This Dell 7559 laptop combines a 15.6-inch UHD touchscreen with an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M graphics. It ships with 16GB DDR4 memory, a 512GB SSD and Windows 11 Home. The configuration targets gamers and creators who want a portable 4K display and dedicated graphics in a graphite chassis.

Sustained load behaviour

The i7-6700HQ runs at a 2.60 GHz base clock and can reach 3.5 GHz with Turbo Boost while the GTX 960M provides 4GB dedicated video memory alongside Intel HD Graphics 530. Under extended gaming or rendering sessions the quad-core CPU and discrete GPU share thermal headroom so clock speeds will settle below the peak boost frequency. The 512GB SSD maintains consistent read performance without thermal throttling during large file transfers.

Installation and common issues

Windows 11 Home is pre-installed so the laptop boots to a ready desktop after the initial out-of-box setup. Driver updates for the GTX 960M and chipset are delivered through Windows Update or the Dell support site. The 2-in-1 SD card reader and USB 3.0 ports work without extra software. Some users report the touchscreen calibration drifting after sleep cycles, which a recalibration in Windows settings usually resolves.
