Dell Quadro RTX 5000 GPU for PowerEdge

This Dell NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 is a 16GB GDDR6 graphics card rated at 265W. It uses a PCIe x16 interface in a double-width full-height full-length form factor. The unit is supplied new with updated firmware and tested components.

Ideal for Dell PowerEdge 3930R

This card fits Dell PowerEdge 3930R and 7920R systems needing professional visualisation compute. It is not suitable for servers lacking a compatible PCIe x16 slot or the required power and physical clearance for a 265W DW FHFL card. Buyers needing a different form factor or lower power draw should consider other options.

16GB GDDR6 memory capacity

The 16GB GDDR6 frame buffer determines the maximum model and dataset size the GPU can hold in local memory. Workloads exceeding this capacity will rely on system memory over the PCIe bus, reducing throughput. Confirm your application fits within 16GB before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 7XK5H fit in a standard full-height PCIe x16 slot?

The card uses a dual-width full-height full-length form factor and requires a PCIe x16 slot with enough physical clearance for its length and width.

What is the correct way to seat the 7XK5H and connect its power?

Insert the card firmly until the bracket screw aligns, then attach both 8-pin power connectors from the PSU; skipping either connector prevents the GPU from starting.

When should the thermal paste on the 7XK5H be replaced?

Reapply thermal compound if temperatures rise above normal after several years of continuous 265W operation or whenever the heatsink is removed for cleaning.
