Alienware 16X Aurora gaming laptop

The Alienware 16X Aurora is a 16-inch gaming laptop finished in Interstellar Indigo. It targets users who want high refresh-rate visuals and multi-threaded processor performance in a portable chassis. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and includes a Traix mousepad in the box.

16 GB DDR5 at 5600 MHz with 64 GB ceiling

Memory runs at 5600 MHz and the platform supports up to 64 GB, so the factory 16 GB handles modern titles and creative workloads but leaves headroom for future upgrades. The 1 TB PCIe SSD provides fast primary storage, yet heavy media libraries will eventually demand external or internal expansion.

RTX 5070 with 8 GB gddr7 and 240 Hz G-SYNC panel

The dedicated RTX 5070 brings 8 GB of gddr7 video memory to drive the 2560x1600 display at 240 Hz with G-SYNC and 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage. A 1080p FHD RGB-IR HDR webcam enables Windows Hello facial recognition, while Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth handle wireless connectivity. AlienFX RGB backlighting and a Precision touchpad complete the input experience.

Questions about this item

Will the 24-core Intel Ultra 9 290HX work with my older USB 3.0 peripherals?

The laptop includes USB ports compatible with USB 3.0 devices, so existing mice, keyboards and external drives will connect and function normally alongside the 24-core processor.

How can I verify the 16-inch 3K 240Hz panel is running at its full refresh rate after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings and confirm the refresh rate shows 240 Hz; the NVIDIA G-SYNC indicator in the driver control panel will also confirm variable refresh is active on the 2560x1600 screen.

Does the box contain the AlienFX RGB backlit keyboard and Precision touchpad, or must I buy them separately?

Both the AlienFX RGB backlit keyboard and the multi-touch Premium Precision touchpad are built into the chassis; the package also includes a Traix MousePad, so no separate input devices are required.
