Alienware 17 R4 LCD Back Cover Assembly

This OEM replacement panel fits the Alienware 17 R4 17.3" laptop when the optional Tobii Eye Tracker hardware is installed. It restores the original chassis appearance and integrates the required sensor cutouts. The part number 2JJC5 matches the Dell service documentation for this specific configuration. Wireless antenna cables and Tron LED lighting cables are included with the assembly.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Confirm that your Alienware 17 R4 currently has the Tobii Eye Tracker option enabled in the system configuration. The cover will not align correctly on models without that hardware because the sensor window and internal mounting points differ. Match the Dell part number 2JJC5 on your existing lid or service tag details before purchasing. Professional installation is recommended to avoid damaging the antenna or LED cables during reassembly.

Replaces Damaged or Worn Original Lid

This assembly replaces a cracked, scratched or hinge-damaged factory back cover on a Tobii-equipped Alienware 17 R4. The upgrade is worth it when the existing lid shows physical damage that compromises wireless reception, LED lighting or structural rigidity. It is not for buyers who need a lid for a non-Tobii Alienware 17 R4 or for a different laptop series altogether.
