Genuine Dell OEM LCD Bezel for Alienware 17 R4/R5

This is a genuine Dell OEM replacement part for the 17.3 inch display. It matches the FWCJ4 part number and fits Alienware 17 R4 and R5 laptops. The bezel is designed specifically for models equipped with the Tobii Eye Tracker hardware. Buyers who need a bezel for a non-Tobii system cannot use this part.

Fits directly into the existing display assembly

The front trim cover installs onto the laptop's LCD panel without additional components. It replaces a damaged or worn bezel and restores the original fit around the screen and eye-tracking sensors. No extra brackets or adapters are required for installation. Builders who need a complete display assembly rather than the trim alone will not find it here.

Passive plastic component with no power requirements

The bezel draws no power and generates no heat or noise during normal use. It serves as a structural and cosmetic cover for the display and Tobii sensor window. Thermals and acoustics are unaffected by this part. Users who expect active cooling or electronic features from a bezel will not find them.

Questions about this item

Does the Tobii eye-tracker cut-out reduce the bezel's rigidity during long gaming sessions?

The plastic front trim is moulded to the original factory specification, so the Tobii opening does not weaken the frame under normal use.

Will the bezel warp or discolour if the laptop runs hot for hours?

It is the same OEM-grade plastic Dell uses on new Alienware 17 R4 and R5 units and is rated for the chassis operating temperature range.

Must the laptop already have the Tobii eye-tracker module installed for this bezel to fit?

Yes — this FWCJ4 bezel matches only Alienware 17 R4 or R5 models that shipped with the optional Tobii Eye Tracker hardware.
