Tower gaming desktop with Intel Ultra 7 265F

This Alienware Aurora ACT1250 tower ships with a 15th Gen Intel Core Ultra 7 265F processor, 20 cores and 20 threads reaching 5.3 GHz. A GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 12 GB GDDR7 memory handles VR-ready workloads. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed on a 1 TB 2230 PCIe NVMe SSD.

Velztorm upgrade bundle adds a Dockztorm USB hub

The supplier opens the factory box to install a 32 GB DDR5 DIMM kit and the 1 TB 2230 PCIe NVMe SSD. A portable Dockztorm USB hub rated at 5 Gbps data rate is included in the package. The original 500 W power supply and black chassis remain unchanged.

Check motherboard DDR5 slot count

The system uses DDR5 DIMM modules; verify your existing board accepts this generation before planning any memory changes. The boot drive uses a 2230-length M.2 form factor, so longer 2280 modules will not fit that slot. Builders who need more storage bays or a higher-wattage power supply should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 500W PSU handle the RTX 5070 and Ultra 7 265F under full load without needing an upgrade?

The system ships with a 500W PSU matched to the 12GB RTX 5070 and 20-core Ultra 7 265F; sustained gaming at stock settings stays within this budget, so no PSU swap is required for standard use.

Which component hits its thermal or power ceiling first during long gaming sessions on this Aurora ACT1250?

The 500W PSU and tower airflow are tuned for the RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7 and Ultra 7 265F; under continuous load the GPU power target typically saturates before CPU thermals become the limiting factor.

How loud are the RGB fans when the PC runs all day at 5.3 GHz boost?

Alienware's tuned fan curves keep the RGB fans at low RPM during idle and moderate loads; at sustained 5.3 GHz boost the fans spin up audibly but remain within typical tower-desktop noise levels for a 500W build.
