24.5 Inch 500Hz Gaming Display

The DELL Alienware AW2524HF is a 24.5-inch gaming monitor built for competitive players who prioritise motion clarity above all else. Its Fast IPS panel reaches a 500 Hz overclocked refresh rate and a 0.5 ms gray-to-gray response time in Extreme mode. The 1920x1080 resolution keeps GPU demands manageable for high frame rates.

Suited for Esports Not Creative Work

This display suits esports enthusiasts who need tear-free motion at 480 Hz native or 500 Hz overclocked speeds with AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync certification. Buyers who want higher pixel density for detailed image editing or immersive single-player visuals should look at something else. The sRGB 99% coverage serves games well but does not extend to wider gamuts for professional colour grading.

500Hz Overclock Decides Fit

The single specification that decides fit is the 500 Hz overclocked refresh rate paired with 0.5 ms GtG minimum response time. If your system cannot consistently push frame rates near that ceiling, the panel's speed advantage goes unused. Verify your graphics card and game settings can deliver matching performance before committing.
