Alienware m15 R2 for portable gaming

The Dell Alienware m15 R2 is a 15.6-inch laptop built around a six-core Intel Core i7-9750H processor that reaches 4.5 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with Windows 10 Home and targets users who want a dedicated GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card in a 4.75 lb chassis. The 1920 x 1080 non-touch FHD panel and 512 GB SSD complete the core specification. Buyers who need more than 8 GB of memory or a larger storage volume should look elsewhere.

Connectivity and expansion options

Two SuperSpeed USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one with PowerShare, sit alongside an HDMI 2.0b output and a Mini-DisplayPort 1.4 output for external displays. A Thunderbolt 3 port and the proprietary Alienware Graphics Amplifier port provide high-bandwidth expansion for docks or an external desktop GPU. Wired networking is handled by a Killer E2600 Gigabit Ethernet controller while wireless and Bluetooth are integrated. The Noble lock slot accepts a security cable sold separately.

Included software and accessories

The system arrives with Windows 10 Home pre-installed and is eligible for a Windows 11 Pro upgrade path. An integrated webcam is built into the display bezel for video calls or streaming. No additional peripherals, recovery media or proprietary utility suites are listed in the supplied data. The power adapter connects via the dedicated DC-in jack.
