Genuine Dell OEM keyboard backlight ribbon cable for Alienware m15 R3 and R4 with per-key RGB backlit keyboard
This genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable restores per-key RGB backlighting on Alienware m15 R3 and R4 laptops. It carries part number 9PN7T and matches the optional per-key RGB keyboard configuration. The cable is supplied new and corresponds to the component pictured by the supplier.
Dell shipped these models with several keyboard variants that use different connectors. Confirm that your existing keyboard is the per-key RGB type and that its cable carries part number 9PN7T or the alternate references FDQ51_PK_KB_BL_FPC or DA30001CM10. This cable will not fit standard single-zone or four-zone backlit keyboards.
The flexible flat cable is built to Dell OEM specifications and plugs directly into the keyboard and motherboard connectors. Its low-profile construction allows it to sit flush within the tight m15 chassis without interfering with surrounding components. Installers should handle the ribbon by the stiffener tabs to avoid creasing the conductors during reassembly.

The listing shows only the keyboard backlight ribbon cable itself; no screws, brackets or installation tools are included.
Verify the part number printed on the original cable matches 9PN7T, FDQ51_PK_KB_BL_FPC or DA30001CM10; Dell shipped these models with multiple keyboard connectors, so the number must match exactly.
The cable is a passive flex circuit; per-key RGB control is handled by the laptop's embedded controller and Alienware Command Center software, so no cable-side firmware is involved.
