Competitive gamers wanting high refresh rates

The 300 Hz panel suits players who prioritise motion clarity in fast shooters. The 1080p resolution keeps frame rates high on the RTX 3070. Buyers who need a higher resolution for content creation, a touchscreen, or a larger screen should consider other models.

300 Hz refresh rate on a 15.6" 1080p panel

This specification determines whether the laptop matches a user's competitive gaming needs. The high refresh rate reduces motion blur in esports titles. If a buyer values colour accuracy or 4K detail over raw speed, this display is not the right choice.

Questions about this item

How do I add storage to the m15 R4 and what step do people miss?

Install a PCIe NVMe SSD into the open M.2 slot, then initialise the drive in Disk Management before it will appear in Windows.

What part will need replacement first on the Alienware m15 R4?

The 86 WHr battery is the only user-replaceable consumable; plan a swap when run-time drops below your needs.

Which limit appears first during long gaming sessions on the i7-10870H and RTX 3070?

The 240 W power adapter caps total system draw, so sustained loads will throttle before thermal limits are reached.
