Genuine Dell OEM camera ribbon cable

This is a genuine Dell OEM part designed for the Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 and Alienware m15 R6 laptops equipped with the optional HD camera. It replaces a damaged or faulty internal flex cable to restore webcam functionality. The part number is V8232.

Fits specific Alienware 15-inch models only

The cable connects the HD camera module to the system board inside the laptop chassis. Installation requires partial disassembly of the display assembly and is intended for technicians or experienced builders. It frees the user from relying on external USB webcams.

Restores integrated HD webcam operation

The ribbon cable carries video signal and power for the factory HD camera on compatible systems. It does not upgrade camera resolution or add features absent from the original hardware. Buyers needing a higher-resolution sensor or infrared Windows Hello support cannot use this part.
