Genuine Dell OEM IR camera ribbon cable for Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 and m15 R6 laptops
This genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable connects the infrared camera module to the mainboard in compatible Alienware m15 laptops. It carries the Dell part number 0CJJK and is supplied new. The part restores facial-recognition sign-in when the original flex cable is damaged or missing. It fits Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 and m15 R6 models equipped with the optional IR camera.
The cable replaces the factory flex that links the IR camera to the system board. The jump is worth it when Windows Hello stops working because the original ribbon has torn, creased or come loose during a repair. No other camera functions are affected by this part. Swapping the cable restores infrared facial authentication without replacing the whole camera assembly.
The ribbon handles the IR camera data path for the two listed Alienware models. It runs out when the laptop lacks the optional IR camera or when the motherboard connector differs from the factory design. The part does not support standard webcam-only configurations or other Dell chassis. Buyers who need a standard webcam cable or a different laptop family will not be served by this part.

Yes, the cable is listed as compatible with both the Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 and the m15 R6 when they are equipped with the optional IR infrared camera.
The flexible printed circuit connects the IR camera module to the system board; the connector must be fully seated and the retention latch flipped down, which is the step most often missed.
Replace it if the IR camera stops being recognised, shows a distorted image, or the cable has been creased or torn during a previous repair.
