Compatible Alienware M17 R5 repair

This genuine Dell OEM touchpad module kit is built for the Alienware M17 R5 laptop. It restores full cursor control and multi-touch gesture support for gaming and productivity tasks. The part arrives new with a pre-attached cable for direct installation. Buyers needing a different laptop model or a standalone cable should look elsewhere.

Verify Alienware M17 R5 part number

Confirm your laptop is the Alienware M17 R5 before ordering because this module is keyed to that specific chassis. The kit does not fit Inspiron 15 5570, 5575 or Latitude 3590 models despite shared supplier references. No tools or adhesives are included so have a suitable screwdriver ready. Technicians without board-level repair experience may prefer professional service.

Pre-attached cable simplifies swap

The integrated flex cable eliminates separate cable routing and connector alignment during reassembly. Factory-tested construction matches original durability standards for long-term reliability. No driver disc or configuration software is bundled because the hardware uses standard Windows precision drivers. The kit contains only the touchpad module and cable — no palm-rest, bezel or fasteners.
