17.3" 360 Hz gaming laptop

The Dell Alienware X17 R1 pairs an 11th Gen Core i7-11800H eight-core processor with a dedicated GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU. Sixteen gigabytes of memory and a 256 GB SSD support Windows 11 Home on a 1920 x 1080 non-touch panel. Lunar Light finish distinguishes the chassis.

Competitive gamers needing high refresh rates

The 360 Hz Full HD display targets esports players who value motion clarity above pixel density. Buyers who want more storage or a higher-resolution screen should look at something else. The 802.11ac wireless adapter provides standard connectivity.

RTX 3080 with 8 GB GDDR6X

The discrete graphics card delivers 8 GB of GDDR6X video memory for modern titles at high frame rates. This specification decides whether the system meets a buyer's performance target. Eight CPU cores at up to 4.6 GHz turbo complement the GPU in demanding workloads.

Questions about this item

Does the Alienware X17 R1 need any extra hardware to run the 360 Hz 1920 x 1080 panel at full speed?

The laptop includes the RTX 3080 with 8 GB GDDR6X and Windows 11 Home, so the 360 Hz FHD display works immediately without an external GPU or monitor.

Can I keep using my older 802.11ac router with the X17 R1's wireless?

Yes, the built-in 802.11ac Wi-Fi connects to existing 802.11ac networks at their rated link speeds.

How do I confirm the 17.3" 360 Hz screen is actually running at 360 Hz after setup?
