Alienware X17 R1 gaming laptop

The Alienware X17 R1 is a 17.3-inch gaming laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-11800H processor with eight cores reaching 4.6 GHz turbo frequency. It combines 32GB of memory, a 2TB SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU with 10GB GDDR6X video memory. The 360 Hz FHD display targets competitive gaming responsiveness. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Competitive gamers and creators needing portable

This configuration suits players who prioritise high frame rates on a fast 360 Hz panel and need large local storage for game libraries. Content creators benefit from the eight-core CPU and dedicated GPU for rendering tasks. Buyers who want a touchscreen, higher resolution than FHD, or a lighter chassis for frequent travel should look elsewhere.

360 Hz FHD display decides panel choice

The defining specification is the 17.3-inch FHD screen running at 360 Hz, which locks the panel to a 1920 x 1080 resolution at that refresh rate. Alternative configurations offer 165 Hz FHD or 120 Hz UHD panels with slightly different dimensions. If your workflow demands 4K resolution or a lower refresh rate with different colour characteristics, this specific display variant is not the right match.
