DELL AR5B225 Wi-Fi adapter DW1703 Bluetooth 4.0 150 Mbps

Half-height Mini PCIe combo card

The Dell DW1703 combines Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 on a single half-height Mini PCI Express card. It uses an Atheros chipset and operates on the 2.4 GHz band with a maximum data rate of 150 Mbps under the 802.11 b/g/n standards. The card is supplied new and carries Dell part number FXP0D.

Fits most half-size Mini PCIe slots except Lenovo

This adapter suits owners of compatible Dell Inspiron models such as the 15 3521 who need a direct replacement for a failed or missing wireless card. It will not work in laptops that use a whitelist blocking third-party Mini PCIe cards, notably IBM, Lenovo and HP or Compaq systems. Buyers with those brands should look elsewhere.

Requires a half-size Mini PCIe slot

The decisive specification is the half-height Mini PCI Express form factor; the card will not fit full-height or M.2 Key E slots. Verify that the target laptop exposes a half-size Mini PCIe connector and does not enforce a firmware whitelist before purchase.
