Alienware 34 QD-OLED for immersive gaming

The Alienware AW3423DWF is a 34-inch curved gaming monitor built on Quantum Dot OLED technology. It targets players who want an ultrawide 1800R panel with infinite contrast and a 165 Hz refresh rate. The Legend 2.0 design adds 360-degree ventilation and AlienFX RGB lighting. It suits enthusiasts seeking deep blacks and vivid colour in a single ultrawide display.

165 Hz QD-OLED headroom and limits

A 165 Hz refresh rate combined with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro delivers tear-free motion up to the panel maximum. VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 and 1000 nits peak brightness provide strong HDR highlight performance. The QD-OLED layer achieves a wide colour gamut with infinite contrast. Buyers who want higher refresh rates or larger screen diagonals will need a different model.

HDMI USB VESA mount and ComfortView Plus

Connectivity includes HDMI and USB ports for peripheral hook-up. A VESA mounting pattern allows wall or arm installation. TUV-certified ComfortView Plus reduces blue-light emissions without shifting colour accuracy. The integrated cable-management channel keeps routing tidy. Users requiring DisplayPort or KVM switching must verify support elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 34" 1800R curved QD-OLED panel work with an older graphics card that only has HDMI 1.4 outputs?

The monitor includes HDMI ports, but 165 Hz and HDR performance require a newer HDMI version; check your card's specification for supported bandwidth.

How can I confirm the panel is running at the advertised 165 Hz with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro active?

Use the on-screen display to verify the current refresh rate and enable FreeSync Premium Pro in both the monitor menu and your GPU driver control panel.

Does the box contain the necessary cables for HDMI and USB connectivity, or must I purchase them separately?

The package includes the monitor with Legend 2.0 stand, power cable, and video cables; check the contents list for the exact cable types supplied.
