Dell Broadcom 57414 OCP 3.0 Adapter

The Dell Broadcom 57414 is a dual-port 25GbE SFP28 network adapter with security offload. It uses the OCP 3.0 form factor for direct installation in compatible Dell PowerEdge servers. This card targets administrators upgrading rack-mount systems to 25 gigabit connectivity.

Fits PowerEdge R470 R570 R670 R770

The adapter installs into an OCP 3.0 mezzanine slot on supported PowerEdge R470, R570, R670, R6715, R6725, R770, R7715 and R7725 servers. It provides two SFP28 cages for fibre or direct-attach copper links. Using the mezzanine slot preserves standard PCIe slots for other expansion cards.

Sustained 25GbE throughput with security offload

The Broadcom 57414 controller handles encryption and authentication tasks in hardware, reducing CPU load during continuous high-rate traffic. Dual 25GbE ports maintain line-rate performance under extended loads. Firmware is updated before shipment for immediate deployment.
