DELL Chromebook 3100 11.6" LCD Back Cover NWFGT

Genuine Dell LCD Back Cover for Chromebook 3100

This genuine Dell OEM part replaces the 11.6" LCD back cover lid assembly on a Chromebook 3100 laptop. It is built for models equipped with the dual microphone web camera module. The assembly arrives exactly as pictured and includes the back cover lid itself. Four wireless antenna cables for WLAN and WWAN connectivity are also integrated into the unit.

Replaces damaged lid assemblies on compatible

The part addresses cracked housings, broken hinge mounts or failed antenna routing on the existing lid. It is the correct choice when the original cover carries Dell part number NWFGT or 9WC9Y. The upgrade is only worthwhile if the laptop uses the specific dual mic camera module identified by part number V976R. Units with a single microphone camera require a different back cover assembly.

Straightforward swap for experienced technicians

Installation involves transferring the display panel, camera module, hinges and antenna cables from the old lid to this replacement assembly. The included WLAN and WWAN cables must be routed correctly to maintain wireless performance. The most common issue is ordering this cover for a Chromebook 3100 that uses a single microphone camera module, which makes the part incompatible. Verifying the camera part number V976R before purchase prevents this mismatch.
