Genuine Dell Touchpad Ribbon Cable DW5PN

This genuine Dell OEM ribbon cable connects the touchpad palmrest assembly to the motherboard in compatible Chromebook models. It is intended for repair technicians or owners replacing a damaged or faulty flex cable in supported systems.

Direct motherboard connection requires care

Installation involves routing the flat flex cable into the motherboard ZIF connector and securing the latch. The thin ribbon can crease or tear if bent sharply, and debris in the connector can cause intermittent touchpad response after reassembly.

Limited to Dell Chromebook 3110 and 3120 series

This part fits Chromebook 3110, Chromebook 3110 2-in-1 and Chromebook 3120 models only. It will not work in other Dell laptops or non-Dell devices, and it does not address issues with the touchpad sensor itself.
