2 TB SAS drive with caddy

This new 3.5-inch internal hard drive offers 2000 GB of storage and spins at 7200 RPM. It connects through a 6 Gbps SAS interface and includes a 128 MB cache with 512-native sector formatting. Each unit ships with an R-series caddy for direct installation.

Suits servers needing 6 Gbps SAS storage

The drive fits Dell PowerEdge servers and other systems that accept 3.5-inch SAS drives at 6 Gbps. It is not for platforms that require a different physical interface or a smaller form factor.

Single-spec decider: 6 Gbps SAS interface

The 6 Gbps SAS connection determines whether this drive works in your chassis and controller. Verify that your backplane and RAID card support this exact interface before purchase.
