15.6″ FHD touchscreen laptop

The Dell DC15250 is a 15.6-inch laptop with a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen display. It runs on an Intel Core i5-1334U processor that reaches 4.6 GHz. The system includes 16 GB of DDR4 4800 memory in two 8 GB modules and a 4 TB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed.

Home and office users needing touch and storage

This configuration suits people who want a touchscreen for direct interaction and a large 4 TB drive for local files. The two memory slots are already filled, so buyers who plan to upgrade RAM later should note that no slots remain free. Users who prefer a non-touch display or a lighter chassis may want a different model.

4 TB NVMe SSD capacity

The single specification that most determines fit is the 4 TB NVMe SSD. It provides substantial space for applications, media and project files without relying on external drives. Anyone who needs more internal capacity than 4 TB will have to look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I upgrade the memory, and which step do people often miss?

The laptop has two DDR4 4800 slots, both occupied by 8 GB modules. To add memory you must remove one or both existing sticks first, because no slots are free. The maximum supported is 64 GB.

What component will likely need replacement after a few years of daily use?

The internal battery is the part that degrades with charge cycles. Dell's Express Charge feature helps reduce wear, but the battery will eventually hold less charge and require replacement.

What thermal limit appears first during a long, heavy workload?

The Intel Core i5-1334U adjusts its speed between 1.3 and 4.6 GHz. Under sustained load the adaptive thermals will throttle the processor below its top turbo frequency to keep temperatures in check.
