Professional 24 inch 16:10 display

The Dell Pro P P2426E is a 24 inch IPS monitor with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It runs at 100 Hz with a 5 ms response time and 300 Nit brightness. The anti-glare panel covers wide viewing angles of 178/178 degrees.

Suited to office and multitasking users

The taller 16:10 ratio benefits document work, coding and vertical web layouts. Buyers who need higher refresh rates for competitive gaming or wider colour gamuts for professional grading should look elsewhere. The 24 inch class size may also feel small for immersive media or multi-window workflows.

Deciding specification: 100 Hz refresh at 1920 x

This combination sets the motion clarity and pixel density you will experience daily. If 100 Hz at WUXGA matches your graphics output and workflow pace, the monitor fits; if you require faster refresh or different resolution, it does not.

Questions about this item

Does the 100 Hz panel maintain its refresh rate without frame drops during long sessions?

The monitor is specified at 100 Hz horizontal and vertical refresh with a 5 ms response time, so the panel runs at that rate continuously under normal use.

How much heat or fan noise does the 300 Nit IPS backlight produce after hours of operation?

The IPS panel has no fan; typical LED backlights at 300 Nit generate low heat and run silently in a 24.1 inch cabinet.

Which video cable must I already have to reach 1920 x 1200 at 100 Hz on this display?

Use the included DisplayPort or HDMI cable; both interfaces support the native 1920 x 1200 resolution at 100 Hz.
