27 inch 120 Hz IPS monitor

The Dell Pro P2726DEV is a 27 inch IPS display built for everyday office work and video calls. It shows 2560 x 1440 resolution at 120 Hz with an anti-glare coating and 350 nit brightness. The panel covers 16.7 million colours and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. A built-in webcam and integrated KVM switch simplify a single-desk setup.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This monitor suits professionals who want a tidy desk with webcam, KVM and USB hub built in. Buyers who need higher refresh rates for competitive gaming should look elsewhere. Creative users who require wider colour gamuts or hardware calibration support should look elsewhere. Multi-monitor arrays that demand thinner bezels or specialised mounting options should look elsewhere.

The specification that decides fit

The single specification that decides fit is the 120 Hz refresh rate at 2560 x 1440 resolution. If your workflow needs smoother motion than a standard 60 Hz panel, this 120 Hz IPS screen meets that need. If your applications demand 144 Hz or higher, this panel will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Will the built-in webcam on this P2726DEV need a firmware update or module replacement over time?

The webcam is integrated into the monitor and has no user-serviceable parts; Dell does not publish a separate replacement schedule for it.

What limits continuous 120 Hz operation on the 2560 x 1440 panel during long sessions?

The 5 ms response time and 350 nit brightness are the fixed panel limits; sustained use does not introduce additional throttling.

How much fan noise or heat does the P2726DEV produce when running all day at 120 Hz?

The monitor uses passive cooling with no internal fan, so it generates only normal panel warmth and zero audible fan noise.
