Genuine DMD chip for 3M SCP712

This is a genuine OEM DMD chip designed specifically for the 3M SCP712 projector. It replaces a faulty digital micromirror device to restore image quality. The component is supplied new and has been extensively tested at least three times to confirm clear projection with no dead pixels.

Replacement limits for projector light engine

The chip functions as the core imaging element inside the projector's light engine. It corrects dead-pixel artifacts but cannot fix optical faults such as colour wheel failure, lamp degradation or polariser damage. Installation requires disassembly of the optical block, so the repair is limited to the micromirror array itself.

Verify projector model and service access

Confirm that your unit is the exact 3M SCP712 model before ordering, as the chip is not interchangeable with other series. Ensure you have the technical skill or service documentation to dismantle and reassemble the light engine without contaminating the optical surfaces.
