Questions about this item

Which Acer projector model must I own for this DMD/DLP chip to be compatible?

The chip is designed for the Acer P1223 projector, so that exact model is required for it to work.

Will the chip still function if I keep the original lamp and colour wheel from the P1223?

Yes, the DMD/DLP chip replaces only the imaging device; the existing lamp and colour wheel remain in place and continue to operate normally.

How can I verify the chip is projecting a clear image with no dead pixels after installation?

Power on the P1223 and display a full-screen white test pattern; a correctly installed chip will show a uniform white field without any stuck or missing pixels.
