Genuine OEM DMD/DLP Chip for Acer P5207B

This is a genuine OEM DMD/DLP chip designed as a replacement part for the Acer P5207B projector. It is supplied new and intended for technicians or owners repairing a unit with a failed imaging component. The part restores the projector's ability to produce a visible picture.

Tested for sustained projection clarity

Each chip is extensively tested at least three times to verify it projects a clear image with no dead pixels. This validation focuses on sustained output quality rather than a brief functional check. The process aims to ensure reliable performance throughout extended viewing sessions.

Passive component with no active cooling

The chip operates as a passive micro-mirror device without an integrated fan or active cooling system. Thermal management and acoustic output depend entirely on the projector's existing lamp and ventilation design. Power draw is determined by the host unit's illumination engine.

Questions about this item

Does the DMD/DLP chip for the Acer P5207B run hot or draw extra power during extended use?

The chip is a passive optical component with no moving parts or power draw of its own; heat and noise come from the projector's lamp and cooling system.

What existing projector parts must I already have to install this DMD/DLP chip?

You need a working Acer P5207B projector with its original light engine housing, colour wheel, and mainboard intact for the chip to function.

Will this replacement chip work with older Acer projectors I might still own?

This DMD/DLP chip is made specifically for the Acer P5207B and is not compatible with other Acer projector models.
